Online games are certainly getting more competitive over the years, with companies introducing various gaming mechanisms in order to outdo one another. And one of the latest trends of the mmorpg arena is a free to play model, which would allow gamers to hop onto their online gaming servers and to play for free. Of course, this particular model is definitely catching the hype these days, and it looks like Titanfall is set to implement the F2P model in Asia.

And with Titanfall set to get into the free to play arena, that would allow them to join the ranks of Halo and Call of Duty. However, just like any other F2P games out there, there is a catch, whereby there is the option where you can top up your account with premium gaming hours, which would allow you to level up your toon faster. Well, if you are waiting anxiously for Titanfall, get ready for the game as they are coming soon to Asia!

Tuesday, 11 August 2015 06:44

Everytime Samsung introduces their spanking new smartphone into the market, they can be sure to reap a nice profit out of it, because clearly, these smartphones are the primary mover for their smartphone division. Nevertheless, it looks like things are not turning out alright for Samsung, as apparently, their Samsung Galaxy S6 sales did not meet up to expectations.

According to Samsung, the company profit fell four percent to 6.9 trillion won ($5.9 billion), while their mobile division’s operating profit also slumped to 2.76 trillion won ($2.4 billion) from 4.42 trillion won ($3.8 billion) when compared to the same quarter last year. And to save things from going to worse, it looks like Samsung is ready to discount their S6 smartphone, with hopes of making the phone priced more competitively. Personally, I think Samsung went over their head with their S6 pricing, as clearly, they should have priced it similarly with its predecessors, and not in the ultra-high region like the iPhone.

One of the joyous features of the Fallout 3 series is their creation kit that would allow users to create their very own mods that can be an awesome addition to the game. Of course, if you browse Youtube, you’ll find various mods available for download online, and I’m just loving every moment of these mods being played.

Nevertheless, the latest news from Bethesda suggests that their upcoming Fallout 4 won’t support mods at the initial stage, in which if you purchase Fallout 4 this fall, you won’t get to create mods for the game itself, as the company mentioned that this particular feature isn’t created and available just yet. Facebook or rather Mark Zuckerberg is the face of Internet.org, and he has been the catalyst to deliver internet across the globe. In fact, Mark is committed to make internet available to everyone in the face of earth, and their recent innovative idea is to deliver internet through their brand new spanking new solar-powered aircraft.

The unmanned aerial vehicle has a wingspan of the Boeing 737 aircraft, and it weighs in at 880 pounds. The UAV can cruise across the globe providing internet connectivity from altitudes of 60,000 to 90,000 feet. Generally, the UAV can circle in a specified area for up to 90 days non-stop when deployed, thanks to its onboard batteries that allows the plane enough energy to last that long. Facebook says they will use a balloon to carry their solar-powered aircraft to a higher altitude before letting it loose to fly on its own.

Friday, 07 August 2015 00:00

The social media empire is certainly one of the biggest media empires in the world, whereby billions of users are logged into their account checking each other out. Of course, I’m pretty sure most of you know Twitter and Facebook, as these are the social media giants that have been pretty successful when compared to other social media sites.

Apparently, Twitter has just recently rolled out an experimental homepage that was made visible to all visitors who aren’t logged into their accounts. Generally, the new landing page would showcase to the visitors what their website is all about. I’m guessing Twitter would like to enhance their rate of use through the new homepage. According to their latest earnings report, the company revealed that they have only 316 million active users a month, which is a far cry from Facebook, which has almost 1.5 billion users. With the new landing page in place, I’m guessing we’ll see more celebrity posts and tweets appearing on the homepage in the near future.
